Women's Ministry

“Please hear me, Girl: The world has enough women who know how to do their hair. It needs women who know how to do hard and holy things.”

– Ann Voskamp

R.E.A.L WOMEN

This monthly Sunday night service was designed specifically for the modern-day woman. At R.E.A.L women, we are passionate about being intentional in Relationship, Encouragement, Acceptance and Love. Our focus is to grow in these R.E.A.L qualities in our relationship with the Father first and foremost, that we would tune our ears and hearts to long for a deeper relationship with Him. As an extension, we desire to see these R.E.A.L qualities be extended with open hands to the people around us. Our meetings look like a time of worship and a word from a guest speaker, as well as intimate or corporate prayer time.

When: September 17 at 6:30pm

If you have any questions please contact Sonja Conti at sonjahartman@hotmail.com

Hearts 4 Him

Hearts for Him is a time for women to come together and study the Word twice a month. We begin our meetings with worship and prayer, and then move to a time of sharing what we are learning about God, ourselves, and others as we encourage one another in our faith. The current study that we are working through is “The Twelve Women Of The Bible.” This study will take us to the end of June. This study is led by Angel Brown. You can email her at angellic@shaw.ca

Where: Lower Auditorium
When: Wednesdays at 9:45am – 11:30am, on the 1st and 3rd week of the month

Reflections

Reflection (ri-flek-shuh n); noun – the act of reflecting, as in casting back a light or heat, mirroring, or giving back or showing an image; the state of being reflected in this way / a fixing of the thoughts on something; careful consideration. This is a Bible study for women who long to be more like Jesus in their everyday life. It is an interactive study from the Gospels and explores Jesus’ many miracles, as well as the personal interaction he had with the people of His day. This is a study of 30 lessons, along with an answering questions portion and complete with a workbook. The message of this study is to reflect on and reflect the heart of Christ.

Single Moms Ministry

Single mothers face a unique set of challenges. That’s why we feel it’s important to be in community with one another, strengthening and encouraging one another in prayer and with words. Our mission for this meeting is “To become family together, one in heart and mind – seeking Jesus more in our lives.”

If you or someone you know is a single mother, we would love to meet with you and encourage you.

When: 4th Saturday of the month,
3-5pm, in the Prayer Room.
