As I entered a season of the ‘valley’, I was at a loss. I had lost hope, I had lost feeling, I had lost friendship, I had lost happiness, all because I had lost someone very close to me.
Through Pastoral Care and many conversations with the staff at Northside, I began to find hope. Though I was still in the valley, a glimmer of light began to shine. The community of Northside pushed me to go deeper into the secret place with Jesus; this is where I experienced a love like never before.
The wound that started painful and open began to heal and scar; it was no longer a place of searing pain, but instead a memorial of remembrance of what God brought me through. Praise be to the King!
