Community Life Pastor
What are Lifegroups?
Life Groups are small groups of people that meet together for the purposes of community, connection, and spiritual growth. They are usually between 6-12 people and meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Our Life Groups run from September/October through June and are facilitated by various people at Northside.
Maple Ridge Group
This group is hosted & facilitated by Bernie & Robin, Mike & Rose. It meets every other Monday and focuses on sharing life together and growing in the faith. Space is limited.
John & Connie’s Group
This Lifegroup is for couples and meets monthly on the first Saturday from 5:00-8:00pm. This group will focus on Bible Study around the Sunday sermons. Space is limited.
Online Mandarin Group
This Mandarin speaking group meets weekly online on Fridays at 7:30-9:30pm. It is hosted and facilitated by Kaiyan and they focus on reading the Bible chapter by chapter, worship, discussion, and sharing.
Pastor Jen’s Group
This group will start on Wednesday, October 4th. It meets every other Wednesday at 6:30-8:00pm at the Church. The focus of this Lifegroup will be Bible Study on building community and loving the people around us well!
The Father’s House
This is a Farsi speaking group that meets online at 8:00am on Saturday mornings. Email Pastor Hamid for more information.
Online Men’s Group
This Men’s Bible Study meets online on Friday evenings. Email Doug for more information. They meet on Google Meet from 7:30-9:30pm.
Living Well Women’s Group
This Lifegroup for women meets on Friday mornings at 10:00am. Childcare is available. It meets in one of the classrooms on our Lower floor. Email Jasmine for more information!
Young Adults
Northside’s young adults ministry is a group of individuals committed to creating a safe environment for genuine connection. If you’re between 18 and 29, come on out to our events this summer. They’ll be posted at @youngadultsatnorthside.

What is a facilitator?
A Lifegroup facilitator guides the conversation, study, and/or discussion that happens at the Lifegroup.
What is a host?
A Lifegroup host is usually the person/people whose house the group meets at. They offer the hospitality portion of the Lifegroup.

What happens at a Lifegroup?
We have different kinds of groups, so it’s hard to say exactly what happens at each. Some are Bible Study focused, some use books to study, some use videos, and some are specifically focused on relational connection.
