Community Safety Policies
We are committed to Northside Church being a safe community for all.
The following policies are in place to create and support a safe environment for people to experience community and develop in their faith.
Child & Youth Safety Policy
This is a thorough document* outlining policy and procedures for volunteering with our children and youth aged 18 and younger. It outlines application processes, ratios, methods of discipline and encouragement, and options of reporting. With this policy we are creating rhythms of volunteer training, annual review with Council and leaders, sustainable methods of conveying these important safety measures.
* This policy is currently under review for our current age groups, volunteers, insurance, and building. A copy will be posted in the coming weeks.
Harassment Policy
This policy outlines guidelines for interactions free from bullying in our community. It outlines inappropriate conduct and comments towards each other and includes procedures for reporting.
Sexual Misconduct Policy
These are guidelines for interactions free from unwanted, unwarranted, and inappropriate interactions that are sexual in nature. It outlines the definition, scope, and procedures for reporting.
If you have any questions about these policies or our procedures, please contact our Lead or Executive pastor at 604.942.7711 or the National Office at 604.941.8414 or foursquare.ca.
