Big Idea: We all have had experiences that have left scars on our soul. We can learn from those experiences, or we can dwell on them and let them become infected.
My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. The way bring healing to an infected wound is through confession, repentance and receiving God’s forgiveness, of both, ourselves and the person(s) who may have wounded us.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you. Psalms 51:10-13 ESV
